Political and legislative advocacy is one of the most important mechanisms to protect the real estate industry, advance private property rights, promote homeownership and ensure that REALTORS^®, and those aligned with REALTOR^® interests, are elected to public office. Realtors For Better Government was established in order to accomplish these goals through the execution of independent expenditure campaigns.

The purpose of any such independent expenditure campaign operated by Realtors for Better Government shall be to educate the public and REALTORS® on the issues facing the real estate industry, inform the public and real estate professionals on the positions held by public officials and promote the election of candidates that support sound policies for the real estate industry, its professionals, and consumers.

Realtors For Better Government is an Independent Expenditure Committee registered with the Montana Commissioner of Political Practices, and as such adheres to all registration and reporting requirements. Realtors for Better Government does not make political contributions, whether direct or in-kind, to any candidate committee, party committee, legislative leadership committee or political action committee.
